I look at all my friends blogs and wonder how they do it?? I can barely keep up with all of the reading never mind all of the posting!! But I check their blogs every day (Debbi, Brenda, Nikki, Million Dollar Babies, two peas, myspace and on and on) Maybe if I spent less time reading theirs I could work on my own??

So it happens again!!

I take Allie and her friend Erin to the beach with two of our dogs. What do we find? A sick bird. It is in the surf drowning. Yep you guessed it, we had to save it!! Put it in a bucket to bring to the 24 hour animal hospital in Rohnert Park cause they have a deal with the bird resque. Leave the beach drive all the way and the bird had died!! Bummer. Well at least we tried.

Christine was asked to help out at the Sacramento Horse Expo showing Tennessee Walking horses. She was with Dr. Kris Herman and Mr. Dennis Pennington (from TWEBA). This is the third year that Christine has participated in the expo. It is always alot of fun!

Babies are soooo cute

Did I tell everyone that we had puppies? On June 8th our Yorkie had 4 babies. We had a little bit of drama as the last one would not come out and we had to have an emergency c-section. Now no more Yorkie Babes for Molly (the mom) Any way my youngest DD just showed me that they are starting to open their eyes!! How cute. They look like baby Rotts!

So, here we go again!!

My Mom calls me to tell me that her dog got a baby bird. She said that it looked fine. I told her to lock up the dogs and to put the bird outside and keep an eye on it. She called me back to say that the bird was gone. Great!! A few minits later she calls me back and said that the dog brought the bird back into the house again.

It is 7pm at night and she lives way on the other side of Petaluma. Allie and I jump in the car.

We try to get the bird to its home but the parent birds keep attacking me!!

We take the bird home in a bowl.

He lasted the night!

We take him to the 24 hour emergency clinic in Rohnert Park. (they get them to the bird rescue in Santa Rosa)

So once again an animal in need finds me.

Oh yeah.. the chicken I saved is a rooster.

Cocka doddle doo!!

This Molly, she is our Yorkie.

She thinks that she is a chicken and is in the cage with them.

Every once in awhile she remembers that she is a dog and chases them!!

This is Lucy she died today.

Last week started my wierd animal week with me finding the baby bird on Monday.

Look what I found today!!

Weird Week

OK, this week has been kinda strange.
Monday: find a newly hatched baby bird at our barn, almost stepped on it, picked it up and it was alive, brought it to the 24 hour vet place in R.P. cause the bird rescue place picks them up there.
Tuesday: nothing
Wednesday: Dog takes Allie's shoe, shoe never to be seen again!
Thursday: Find a chicken on the side of the road....
Friday: open up my front door and all of my horses are standing in my front yard!

Weird week!!

I was driving down the road and there was a chicken on the side of the road (not why did the chicken cross the road) I pulled over and she was alive!! just then this other lady pulled up and said that she saw the chicken on top of a semi that was full of chickens to go to the chicken patty place. This chicken did not want to go and jumped to freedom!! (long live Mama!! her new name) I saved her......

We had a great time at this horse show, our next one is in three weeks in Elk Grove.

We lost John's mom this year.
We miss her dearly. We had a family service for
her and helped Larry with some white roses
that Carolyn wanted in her yard.

We also lost Diane's grandmother.

Lilly, she was 105 years old. She

will also be missed.
